Moldy kitchen island in Pleasanton

This moldy kitchen island in Pleasanton, CA was the result of a slow leak from the refrigerator supply line leak for several weeks. The owner only realized there was an issue when he was having his kitchen repainted. The before photo shows the moldy back side of the drywall that has some plumbing wrapped around it. The after photo shows how our technicians were able to skillfully remove the drywall and affected cabinetry to remove the mold and ensure it would not grow back. The homeowner was very pleased that we were able to save his kitchen island and only remove drywall and one cabinet base.
